suddenly dawned on me that today's the end of January.
quite fast, huh.
note to self: buy concession tomorrow.

had a sudden thought the other day,
that every comparison made is subjective.
strong vs. weak.
rich vs. poor.
tall vs. short.
fat vs. thin.
.
.
.
what makes up strong? weak?
the rich, the poor, the tall, the short,
the fat & the thin?
they're all subjected to our views & opinions.
say you have a hundred dollars. you think it's very little.
to someone who needs money, one hundred is a lot.

so different people have different expectations,
which leads to comparisons,
& when things are compared, they can either lose their own value,
or gain more in return.
it's very easy to compare,
but not easy to see things for what they are truly worth.

so if we stop comparing for a moment,
& just live to be contented with what we have & who we are,
how will we become?
less snobbish?
less pessimistic?
or will it hinder our ability of wanting to push forward & be better than some of the rest of the world?

how is it that we are born with this instinct of comparing from the beginning?

actually i'm not sure if i make sense.
i don't know how to put this thought into words haha so..

my first class of the year!

Wacking was a whole load of fun.

halfway i died. because of my back (i didn't arch don't worry it's not worse lol.)
& because the music is damn fast! after we'd finished he'd hold for roughly one & a half eights,

but i like the way he teaches. very smooth.

i have no rehearsal tomorrow!!!
thank youuuu.
my body is aching i don't know why.
think partly because
haven't danced for very long
(like really i haven't stepped into Bryan's classes at all.
& all i've been doing much is
Locking. lol.)
& not sleeping at proper timings
again.

hahaha.
holidays.
always sleeping past midnight.

we made up a funny conversation at Xing Wang Cafe.
of cockroaches (yes exactly, of all animals, right.)
it's in Mandarin though. haha.

started out because of Loretta's tutor,
who claimed that he (he right?) knew practically
all the cockroaches in the bus by name
when he was travelling from his home to school
(i think?)
so we were like..
