Told you so

we were back at the bridge there again.
this year there wasn't a lot of people because they opened up the space more.
plus i think there was 20 places counting down this year.
& also because we didn't squeeze in as much as we had last year.
haha. but still a lot of people!

so we finally found a place. we decided to stop.
but it was very hot!
then Vivienne brought out her favourite cards.

they are hugeeee. LOL.
at first they were fans.

super good fans. LOL. Ruilin, Cheryl & Celesta are very happy.
Vivienne just continues fanning.

then after awhile we got bored. because we reached there at about 1040-ish?
so we started playing Indian Poker.
LOL.

HAHAHA.
seriously everyone was staring at us man.
especially the bangalas. because they just like to stare.

then we got tired. so we sat down.
i tried to take a group photo. the first one came out as this.

& then Celesta's crop of brown hair.

so we continued waiting. & waiting. & waiting.
in the meantime we got surrounded by... bangalas.
SERIOUS.
but not as many as last year.
Celesta was being hornyy. HAHAHA.
long funny story. but not meant for my blog. so i shall not say.

anyway. we stood up at around 11.50 because everyone was surging forward.
THEN THE BANGALAS STARTED PUSHING.
pissed off. we yelled back at them. HAHAHA.

ahh anyway. we didn't countdown. as in.
no 5,4,3,2,1. because.. anyway couldn't hear. LOL.
so when the fireworks started we were like,
"OHHH START ALREADY!" "EH HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
"OH YEAYEA, HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
HAHAHA. every year also like that xDD

sorry for shaking. lol. but it looks very electrifying right. haha.

yes sorry TMD i was shaking.
because the Fireworks mode has very slow shutter speed.
& that's why i still want an SLR.

this year i didn't take as many. partly because..
THE SHUTTER SPEED REALLY TOO DAMN SLOW I GOT PISSED OFF.
& also the fireworks were very short. seriously.
i think it was only 6 minutes long. ))):
& this year's fireworks photos aren't as nice as the 06-07 countdown,
because we were RIGHT UNDERNEATH ALL OF THEM.
but they blocked the area already. otherwise we'll sure go back ):

so anyway after the fireworks,
we had to squeeze our way to Raffles Place MRT.

some people were getting ready to spray. BUT. it's illegal! =D

so we squeezed & squeezed...

we walked over to ACM. because of Woon Yee.

anyway we finally realize that it's going to take forever for Kang Yu to find us,
because it's very inconvenient to come out from the Barrage.
& we were hungryyyy.
so we decided to head down to Simpang Bedok for PRATA =D

along the way Xianghong was supposed to meet us. but then,
she said her cousin got a bit drunk so couldn't send her to Simpang to meet us ):
& then Woon Yee PANGSEH! SHE ALWAYS DOES THAT. ROAR.

train was surprisingly empty. i think because everyone was tonning somewhere else.

then we reached Tanah Merah.
COULD STILL USE STUDENT FARE! (yes i can use student's concession HAHA JC one year what.)

he sent his girlfriend home first. while the rest went toilet.
then we made our way to Simpang. & bid goodbye to Woon Yee. -____-

on the way i was walking with Ruilin & Celesta.
Vivienne, Samantha & Cheryl were behind us.
so we walked & talked & walked & talked.
then halfway Ruilin was like,
"Eh let's wait for them. Vivienne seems to have something interesting to say."
so we waited.
in the end, the three of them were talking about Hongkong dramas.

lol. so we continued.

then we reached. then we ordered.
we waited for super long.
& then we were talking about acronyms. started off with Samantha i think.

Samantha: What's "TTYL"?
Vivienne & I: "Talk to you later"?
Vivienne: Oh my God you mean you don't know? You noob is it. & don't ask what's noob okay.

Kang Yu & girlfriend met us just when all of us finished eating.
he walked from Tampines. to Simpang Bedok. with his girlfriend.
who lives opposite Simpang Bedok.
YOU KNOW HOW FAR IS IT NOT.
so gentlemanly eh Kang Yu.

so we waited for his food.

in the meantime we continued gossiping about obsure people,
& people whom we generally don't have a good impression of until today.
LOL. i feel so bad for them.
but.. aiya. \= long story.

then after food we went to the playground area.
& talked a lot.
about like.. Cheung Cheng lake..?
haha. super random.
then we went some place & sat around in a circle.

i think it was planned for us to sit there. LOL.
(it was like.. 4 plus in the morning.
damn creepy please.)

so we sat down & reminisced. after awhile Vivienne wanted to play Saboteur.
which none of us know how to play.
so she tried to teach us. haha. damn funny ah the entire process.

it's a card game.
some gold-digging game. & there are Saboteurs who are supposed to sabotage the gold-digging route.
it's quite fun.

she was looking at the manual.
all of us got bored waiting for her to finish reading the manual.
so we played 7-Up. LOLLLL.
brain dead i tell you still play Math game..

so finally she was ready. & so we tried.
hahaha. a lot of funny stuff happened on the way.
like.. Vivienne not completely sure of the rules. then Samantha got pissed off.
"Only three pages you don't know how to read is it! The rest are all in other languages lor!"
& then Ruilin who was actually a gold-digger who acted smart & went to sabotage the pathway,
then got blocked by a lot of us.
then we found out. & so we frantically tried to save him.

actually a lot of things happened. but too long to blog already.
