today, i went to church.
i missed NRA class D=
but i went to church.
for Chinese New Year service.

i am so, so, so, so glad to have gone.
blessed service! =D Pastor Mark is so funny. lolll.

God is really omnipresent.

am going out for dinner with my sixone people later YAY! =D =D
as a farewell dinner for Wyemin & Pinrui before they head off to NS.
hahaha.

lightbulb revelation:

when faced with the unknown, we are all scared.
we are scared of what we have to face, what we have to know,
what it will bring us & what we will have to go through.
we are all afraid, because we are all human.
same thing goes for the future.
because you don't know what's going to happen.
& you worry about tomorrow, because each tomorrow brings something that you cannot foresee.
& you are scared.

but you know, when you fear,
just turn to the cross.
because Matthew 6:25-34 says:
25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

28 And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

so, just live in the present,
& just trust & have faith that your tomorrow
& the next tomorrow,
& the next tomorrow after that,
& the next next next next tomorrows,
are all taken care of.

because simply, you matter.
i matter. to God.

if He says, I am worth more than many sparrows (Matthew 10:31, Luke 12:7),
then i am.
& i know i am, because He sent His Son down to earth,
just to take ALL our sins away,
from our past, our present, & our future.
every single sin you can think of,
are all taken away. on that cross.

so, turn to that cross.
know that He cared & still cares,
He loved & still loves,
you.
& whatever you fear of,
is really.. nothing.
because of what happened on the cross 2000 years ago.

& the truth is, i fear of what 2009 is going to bring.
but the greater truth is,
He took care of all of it. 2000 years ago.
